Spring Family Fun Ride

Ride Description

  • We will have multiple loops with varyious lengths and skill levels.
  • We’ll also have a kids loop and a kids track for riders 12 and under, who must always ride under adult supervision.
  • Only 2-wheeled dirt bikes allowed - NO ATVs or side-by-sides.
  • Rider requirements: Full riding gear (including helmet, goggles, boots), and a quiet motorcycle.
  • All riders MUST wear a helmet whenever riding their motorcycle.
  • You must ride slowly in the parking areas and on the roads around the parking area.
  • Absolutely NO TEAR OFFs Allowed! Do not litter the woods with tear-off goggle lenses!

Sign up Procedure

  • Gate opens Friday 5-10pm and Saturday 7am.
  • Sign up is open from 7 AM to 12 PM Saturday and Sunday. Trails close at 3pm Sunday.
  • Bear Creek entry form must be printed out and filled out before entering the property.
  • The AMA release is to be printed out and signed by all members of your party.
  • For riders under age 18, the AMA minor release form must be printed, filled out, and signed by the parent/guardian.
  • Cash only - exact change is required.
  • Food/drinks will NOT be available, plan accordingly.
  • All trash must be taken home with you. Nothing can be left on site.
  • Bring your own pen in case your forms are not filled out properly.
  • No ATVs (“quad-bikes”) or side-by-sides will be allowed.
  • Primitive camping will be allowed Friday and Saturday nights.

Upon entering the property you will turn in the completed and signed Bear Creek Entry form, AMA minor release if necessary, AMA Release, and your exact cash payment. You will be given a wrist band for every member of your party, this must be worn at all times. .

Pricing

Gate fee is $15.00 per person (adult and minor)

The entry fee is $60 for both days, for all riders 13 and over (no entry fee for 12 and under). This fee is good for both days. If you choose to ride both Saturday and Sunday, just keep your wristband on and you will be readmitted.

Directions

  • Event is located at the Bear Creek Sportsmen Property in Hancock, NY.
  • It will be arrowed from the Village of Hancock with Moose racing arrows.
  • When using a GPS for directions only use Coon HIll Rd.
  • NOTE: Do not use Bear Brook Rd - it is a gated, undeveloped road.
  • GPS Coordinates : 41°59’5.48”N, 75°17’28.54”W

Directions from NY-17 Westbound (from the East)

  • Take First Hancock Exit 87A for Hancock / Cadosia
  • Turn right at end of exit ramp.
  • Make immediate first left onto NY-268
  • Follow NY-268 N for 1.1 mi
  • Turn left at Lower Cadosia Rd for 0.1 mi
  • Take the 1st right onto Coon Hill Rd for 1.4 mi (Dirt Road)
  • Slight right at after going through gate
  • Parking will be on the Right 0.2 mi

Directions from NY-17 Eastbound (From the West)

  • Take Exit 87 for Hancock
  • Turn left onto NY-97 / W Front St / W Main St for 0.6 mi
  • Turn right at Read St (at yellow flashing light in town)
  • Turn left at E Front St (at traffic light) for 0.7 mi
  • Continue on E Front St / NY-268 N for 0.8 mi
  • Turn left to stay on NY-268 N for 1.1 mi
  • Turn left at Lower Cadosia Rd for 0.1 mi
  • Take the 1st right onto Coon Hill Rd for 1.4 mi (Dirt Road)
  • Slight right After Gate
  • Parking will be on the Right 0.2 mi
